Project (Architecture): Hegelallee 22-24

A complex of three buildings. Two of them were old and heritage listed. The third was an unfinished new block. The former investors went out of business.

A new investor wanted to turn the complex into a retirement village with a wellness centre attached.

My job was the design and documentation for one of the old buildings and documentation for the new block.

Building 24

Design and Documentation

This building had a heritage listed front view. It had a difficult floor plan. By turning the main stairs 180 degrees around the problems could be solved.

It contains now 19 2-3 bedroom apartments for elderly tennants.

This blue print was only used as an overview sheet. It contains scaled down drawings from all elevations.

Presentation of the new stairway.

A 3ds max render of the new staircase. This was the first time I used 3ds max to show the client how something might look like.

House 22

This half finished new building had to be redesigned to accomodate serviced appartments. It was supposed to be an appartment block but the former investor run out of money during construction. Our client found a new purpose for it.

A larger meeting room and reception has been added in front of the building.
