Modules
The Modular Kitchen Builder creates a kitchen through an array of modules. Each array ID is one module. The origin of the kitchen is on the back wall of the left side.Each module can have base and wall cabinets. Wall cabinets can be full height and full depth, making base and wall cabinet one full size cabinet.
The Fridge Cabinet is a full depth wall cabinet above the fridge.
Top cabinets are above the wall cabinets. They have the same depth as the wall cabinet below.

30cm are a bit less than 12 inches for our non-metric users. You can convert the width of the modules to exact inches with a tick box in the settings. The height will always be metric.
The 2 wider modules have double doors. Drawers are always over the full width.

Convert Width to Inch | This will convert the width to exact inches. The size will expand slightly and some appliances will be scaled to fit better. |

Cabinets and Fronts
Fronts for the cabinets are available in several types:- Door(s) - 1 or 2 solid doors
- Glass Door(s) - Wooden framed glass door(s)
- Open - An open cabinet without a front
- Drawer and Door - A Drawer with a solid door underneath
- 2 or 3 drawers
- wall cabinets can be half height or with a half height door only

Front and Crown Styles
The style of the kitchen fronts and of the crown can be changed at any time during the developement.> Kitchen Style Defaults | |
Cabinet Front Style | - Standard A: Flat door and drawer fronts.
Simple glass frame - Shaker S: Simple frame for doors and drawers - Shaker Raised: Ornamental, traditional door and drawer style |
Crown Style | - None: No crown - Flush: rectangle - Cove: simple coved shape - Traditional: ornamental, traditional profile |
Appliances
Cabinets for Built in Appliances are 60cm deep. First choose the Cabinet and then choose an appropriate Appliance that fits.Built in Appliances come in 3 sizes:
- Standard: 60cm x 60cm (24 x 24 in)
- Compact: 60cm x 45cm (24 x 18 in)
- Wide: 90cm x 48cm (36 x 19 in)

Cabinet Base | Choose a base cabinet that has a slot for the appliance choosen next |

Appliance Base | Choose an appliance to fit into the base cabinet. |
Appliance Wall | Choose an appliance that fits into the wall cabinet. |

Sizes
> Kitchen Size Cabinets | |
Base Kickboard Height | The height of the kickboard (10 default) |
Base Box Height | The height of the Base Cabinet Box (80) |
Wall Box Height | The height of the Wall Cabinet Box (80) |
Wall Box Top Height Pos | This would define the overall height of the kitchen, if there would be no top cabinets or crown. (240) The top of the wall box measured from the floor. |
Top Box Height | The height of the top wall cabinet boxes. (40) The cabinet changes to a standard type cabinet when the height is more than 55 cm |
Crown Height | The height of the crown, if not set to none |
Running Width | Total Kitchen Height | Thes are calculated and cannot be changed. |

Bench Thickness | The thickness of the benches (3.5) |
Fixed Splashback Height | Set to 0.0 the splashback will go from the
top of the bench to the underside of the wall cabinet. Set this to a fixed height instead. Can be overwritten per module. |

Wall Cabinet Offset | Add an offset for the underside of the wall or fridge cabinet for this module only. |
Splashback Height Overwrite | Add a specific height for this module (0.0 => as set in Kitchen Size section) |
L-Shaped and U-Shaped Kitchens
Use more than one blueprint to create kitchen layouts that are U- shaped or L-shaped. The corner cabinets can only be on the right side of the modules.You can select multiple blueprints to make changes to all of them at once. Like material changes, or size changes.
Corners
Corner cabinets can only be placed on the right side of the modules. There are 2 main types of corners:- The 90cm wide, 90cm deep corner's base element has extra 30 cm door panels.
- The 62 wide corner's base cabinet is invisible and has no fronts.
Both corner types come with 3 wall cabinet choices:
- 90 degree: There are 2 doors in an angle of 90 degrees.
- 45 degree: The top cabinet has a center door rotated 45 degrees.
- Standard Cabinet: A standard cabinets can be place instead of one of the corner cabinet types. The wall cabinet would not go around the corner. (no image).

Corner Bench Overhang | Adds an overhang to the side of the corner. In case the adjacent modules have a overhang at their back. |

Island
An island is a kitchen variation without top cabinets. Set it up the same way as a normal kitchen set. Then disable the top cabinets and add an overhang to the back if needed.> Kitchen Style Defaults | |
